MISSION STATEMENT

The Tenants' Forum is your voice, working to represent you as tenants and leaseholders of Chelmer Housing Partnership (CHP).

We are the voice of Residents in the neighbourhoods where CHP has properties. The Forum has a successful partnership with CHP and that role includes helping to make better decisions about the way services are delivered.

We are regularly consulted on a wide range of issues (not just housing) and are helping to improve services so we reflect the different needs of our local communities.
The forum will support all groups working with CHP to improve the services that are delivered to our residents, be it through single issue groups or through neighbourhood groups.

We provide training, IT backup, funding and ensure all out-of-pocket expenses are paid in accordance with our expenses policy.

We have a code of conduct to ensure everyone can participate to their full ability and the forum has an equality and diversity policy. We welcome the involvement of people from all backgrounds to ensure our activities reflect the neighbourhoods we represent.

The forum is always looking for residents to become involved in a way that suits them and welcomes the skills that they bring. If you're interested in becoming involved with the forum please click here or use the 'Contact' menu available on the left of this page.

If you would like to talk to a forum member please contact the resident involvement team who will pass on your request and a member of the forum will contact you.
